September 22, 2017 - This week I am playing double bass and electric bass for the National Tour of Disney's The Little Mermaid. These gigs are always a fun...challenge. This tour travels with only a conductor, drummer, and one keyboardist. All of the other musicians are locals hired in each city. We had a 4 hour rehearsal the morning of the show during which we played each piece ONE time. So, opening night was only our second time playing this music! In front of 3,000 people! I enjoy that kind of pressure - it's like playing a video game with much higher stakes!

August 28, 2017 - Website revamp! I hope you enjoy the new site - it's leaner and meaner!

May 29, 2017 - Wastin' Away in Margaritaville- We just opened Buffett's new show - Escape to Margaritaville at the La Jolla Playhouse! As always, it's all about the band! I'm so lucky to be playing with some real heavyweight musicians - I'm always learning something from these guys. As it should be!

April 24, 2017 - Parrot Head? You betcha! I'm so excited to announce I will beginning work on the new Jimmy Buffet musical, "Escape to Margaritaville" at the La Jolla Playhouse! Previews begin May 9 and the show runs until the end of June. Come check it out!

January 24, 2017 - I'm excited to begin work on the new Disney musical, FREAKY Friday! The band is amazing and populated with old friends.   The pop score is a joy to play, and I think this show has a very bright future!

December 31, 2016 - Happy new year! I've been really blessed in 2016 with some career highlights! I played for Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's Broadway show Bright Star, played electric, acoustic and fretless bass for the Broadway bound hit Come From Away, squeezed in a run of Sense and Sensibility in San Diego, and added some talented new bass and guitar students to my roster. Coming up in February and March I'll  be playing bass for the new Disney musical Freaky Friday, at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Here's hoping 2017 is a safe and prosperous one for you all!

March 18, 2016 - It's so exciting to back in NYC on Broadway playing such a gorgeous show! My favorite thing about my current gig on BRIGHT STAR is the unbelievably talented men and women I get to play with every night. These are truly some world class players and pickers, and every show I learn something from them. That's how it should always be. Come check us out at the Cort Theatre on w. 48th street! Check out my commercials page for video of our Tonight show appearance!
